View Full Version : Do you have a spare rear wheel?
After tonight's little performance at the crits I am in need of a rear wheel (10spd) to borrow until my wheel that was broken at bright is ready for action, which should be by the end of this week... :(
Would appreciate it lots! :vb_cheers:
I think I may be able to help! :) just call me when you want to come and pick it up.
Thanks Jez, looks like im all sorted now though :)

Don't do it Jez, the wheel he broke was a loaner! =P
Seriously though, hows the frame looking? (oh, and I hope you're alright too)

Im all good, just need to remember to wear gloves ;)

What happened in the crit Avi? I hope you aren't another victim of collarbone corner!?
Nah it was before collarbone after the straight. Looked like John(?) from MACT bounced off Etienne and came down in front of me after hitting someones wheel, he had a fair few scratches, some shredded knicks/jersey and probably a sore rib cage from me running straight into him...
 Hope you (Avi & John) and bikes recover well and quickly:grouphug:
Good to hear you are pretty much OK. I was just to the outside of Mr MACT and he basically fell on me. However my novice-program trained crit elbows fended him off(on to the ground, sorry!) and I escaped unscathed but off the back.
Unfortunate too that the three of us were pretty well placed for a sprint....
Ouch! Not good news Avi. I hope you're OK and recover soon.

Avi staggers into my garage, with some badly fashioned glad wrap + frozen Findus Peas tied to his leg.
At least you weren't riding up Hotham this time your wheel decided to shard itself.
