What are the boxing day options?

I'm looking for an easy paced 3hr flattish ride if anyone is interested - Perhaps Lake George or Nanima loop.

bilby's usually do a saturday ride from ANU at 7am, with various bunches depending on ability.

Weather is forecast rain. On the off chance it doesn't rain there has been in the past a Boxing Day ride from Scrivener Dam to Tidbinbilla/Tharwa but nothing 'official' posted about it yet that I've seen. Not very flat ride though...

Nanima is a good ride though you may want to make it out and back on Nanima or come back on Shingle Hill /Old Federal rather than the Barton Hwy because they are doing roadworks there at the moment and there is no shoulder for a couple of kms. Still bitumen, not impassable, I rode it on the weekend without any dramas but I was solo, a bunch might be a different story.
