The pointscore has not been forgotten, merely delayed while the idiots on the Hill sit and abuse each other through the debating of legislation along with overseas adventures they are on at the moment.
Details of the pointscore is below. It is following the same system as last years pointscore. The only addition is the awarding of additional bonus points in handicaps for the first finisher in each grade. The details and the pointscore will be placed on the Vikings website soon.
So far the pointscore has consisted of the 2 ITTs and the road race. It is anticipated that the pointscore to date will be published over the weekend.
Can I ask you not to reply to this thread. I want to have this thread to contain only this message and the updated table after each event. If you want to comment or discuss the pointscore - create a new thread.
If there are any questions, send me a PM or an email (mathew.menz@climatechange.gov.au).
Thanks
Matty
(PS can someone make this a sticky subject for me).

GRADED SCRATCH RACES AND CRITS
For races with at least ten starters in the grade, 5 points for 1st place in each grade, 4 for 2nd place, 3 for 3rd then 2 for all other finishers.

DNFs get 1 point. There is no fastest time bonus.
ALL OTHER ‘TIMED’ EVENTS

5. Events
The first event in the 2009-10 Weekend Racing Series is the ITT held on 15 November 2009. After this, all Vikings-run events will be included in the Series. See the calendar for details of all upcoming events. (Note: the Supercrits are not included in the pointscore).
