View Full Version : Want to Borrow: Trailer Electrical Cable Adaptor
Does anyone have the adaptor for fitting the rectangular electrical cable socket from the trailer into the older-style round socket on the vehicle? Or know what it's called and where to buy it?

Hi Dan
I bought one a couple of weeks ago. There are lots of different types of them. I think thay have both the round and rectangular in 6,7 and 8 pins.
I have a 7 pin rectangular to 7 pin round.
Should be able to get them at any auto accessories place. Repco, supercheap etc..
MM
Thanks for the info, Milto. I'll go check it out.

I found one at my place - it can stay with the Vikings trailer in that front box from now on.
It looks to be 7 pin flat to 7 pin round. Can take it to Civic with me tomorrow or leave it out for someone to collect - could even take it to crit intervals tomorrow morning!
I'll swing by your place one evening this week, Simon.

Hi I just checked the trailer adapter again. IT'S THE WRONG ONE !
It will plug a TRAILER with a round socket into a vehicle with a square plug!
