You know what, if I get organised & back from track champs early enough I might make it out to this one. Racing finishes Sat 17/10 so driving home Sunday morning...will see if I have any ride credits left & can venture out.
I like SDTC, look out for more racing here over summer :)

B*gger. I'm going to miss another Sutton Rd race -- love that circuit.
Don't s'pose someone could organise a race bus for it? I'll be back in action after all this track worlds stuff is over (and it's warm again!)

I'll ride out from gunners.
If we do a race bus though I'll need to pack a few lunches to get me through till my race and my ride home.
yeh a packed lunch boz will definitly be needed for this day. Hey hoops are you planning on repeating your breakaway fakeout turn bailout after 10mins again? Jamie after todays efforts down the false flat i wouldnt be banking on a repeat leadout from these massive calfs

My last two B grade races have started out with scathing attacks from my set of heels. Expect more of the same, 3rd time's a charm :)

Are A and B in the same bunch, or seperate bunches racing on the track at the same time?
SimonD

Different bunches unless the numbers for each are low. less than ten and we combine, I reckon.

The last time was highly amusing, to see Bozzie and Leigh tear off the front, and watch the peloton let them go with no ruspect at all....seemingly, the peloton is smart since they followed the trail of blown pooper valves for 500 metres, and then Hoopsnakes twitching carcass was seen on the side of the track.

I remember that - Good Times. The pack was stuffing about, and I rolled past the pack with the momentum I had from the previous downhill. Before I knew it, I was 200m off the front, and I was scared. I then recalled BSNYC's sage advice: "Go where the most people are", and returned to the warm bosom of the peloton.

Will you be starting the race with the rest of us Driver? Or just jumping on for the last lap? I suggest the latter as a superior method for beating Bossie.

Maybe I can pretend to have a crash and enjoy a one lap rest.

Nah I thought I might race the Tor method - sit on for the whole race, keep my nose out of the wind at all cost, let others do the chasing and then contest the sprint ;)
You and Bossie have more in common than you think.

It's more successful that the tactics that you have been using recently, Mr. Driver.

This method is quite good - you're learning quickly ;)

Just a quick reminder about the Sutton Driver Training Centre race on Sunday. It's a great place to start if you're just getting into racing - no cars and plenty of space on the track. It's good to get some bunch racing in before starting the crits.
We will be using the permanent race numbers for this event. If you have received your number, BRING IT or you will confuse the computer! Jason Parkes, the CCC Prez, will be there to give out those numbers already allocated to people who have emailed him, so please bring your extra $15 for the number and transponder tag. We won't be able to allocate numbers to those who haven't yet emailed Jason, so these people will just get a number for the race.
We are also looking for a couple of helpers for the race, so if any Vikings members want to get their annual marshal duties out of the way send an email to Simon (simonadwyer@yahoo.com.au) or Jane (jane.jones@netspeed.com.au).
I agree with Simon,..great facilities,... and fantastic first aid if you need it,...:)
do you think they will let me back in??
I am flying in the morning, (taking some people on scenic flights),...... if I get back in time I will come out and marshall if i can,..

I have acquired a leave pass for this event. Andrew/Kane as junior members of the squad you are expected to lead me out and do my bidding.
