Saturday Bunch Rides

Hi Everyone!

I am unable to race Sunday so was hoping to find a good Saturday bunch ride.

CCC runs the Bakery Ride from Philip on Saturdays but they say it is fast and for experienced riders only, which I am not!

Are there any other bunch rides on Saturday or does anyone have any suggestions?

It's not a CCC ride, just a public ride.

It is moderate to fast. Not ideal for someone inexperienced.

Thanks Kate! That would be good but it would also be good to find a permeant ride to do.

Bilbys do rides every saturday .

I'd probably recommend Bilbys too - they start at 7am these days, ANU.

Is this Kate's friend Lucy? If yes you'd probably be OK with most of the Bakery ride - it's the last section things get fast and there's usually company to go back to the city.

Lucy, the rides for this week are:

Saturday- 7am ANU (note earlier Summer time).

Long
Cotter- Uriarra- Condor loop 95km

Med
Cotter uriarra 65km

Short
Cotter and back.

You can sign up for the weekly ride list on the Bilby's site so you know where the group is heading each Saturday. The only other thing to note with Bilby's rides is the distance usually reflects the speed (but sometimes there are multiple groups for each distance). I.e, short/slow long/fast.
