Got up early this morning to go to the Crit training at SFP, starting riding out of the garage and my handlebars slipped forward. Got off my bike and had a look at itto see what type of screwdriver I'd need and discovered a round hole, not the usual screwdriver-type one (I'm not very mechanically minded). Went hunting through hubby's toolbox and there were no screwdrivers like the one I'd need. Not happy Jan

Handle bars are usually fastened with an Allen or Hex key like the very bottom tool in this multi-tool. You can buy sets of different size Allen keys from car accessory places or hardware shops and even bike shops!

Maybe the bike God is telling me something (or I have to take Ross's advice and buy some Allen or Hex keys).

Oh hell, if you have to buy something anyway...;)

You need to buy a multitool for your bike bag. Or, if you buy something at Ikea they'll probably throw in an allen key or two. I don't know that they run to flatpack bikes, though...

Or you could be like me, I rode one block down the road from my flat in Curtin and lying on the side of the road was a BBB multitool which is now sitting with my spare tube under my bike seat :)

By the way, anyone missing a slightly beat up BBB multitool???
