cheat code:
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right A B Select Start

The course is almost all false-flat, around 1% - 2%. Pretty hard to get dropped on that profile. The finish is 100m steep uphill, maybe 7% - 8%.

Just jump into the draft, It's pretty easy to sit on the back of the grade above.

The course is not that bad if you are drafting.

Are you going to even go Bossy? There's a 10% chance of Evil Wizards.

It's a handicap though :( ... you have to work all the way to the end. Should be good training though.

I haven't worked out if it's a handicap or a scratch. Looks like they've listed a scratch for the higher grades and handicap for the lower grades. Higher grades are doing an extra lap. Weird.

Ah, you're right (although it's two extra laps :(). From the CCC page.

Grade Distance Laps
MA, MB, MC, WA 70 km 4 full laps (handicap race)
MD, ME, WB, MC 35 km 2 full laps (scratch race)

The group has to work all the way to the end.

Ooops. Opposite to what I thought. So it's a handicap for higher grades then... and it looks like MC have the option of doing one or the other?!

This course hardly fills me with enthusiasm. Did it a few months ago and our group was just Potholes, Matty Meisel-Dennis, Bill Lind and myself. I think C grade had 20-25 riders and we put about 10secs into them per lap. Fun!
