This four race series is sort of like the evolution of the old Monday series.

Hi there,

Just wondering what dates the other races in the series will be on?

Cheers

Vikings races will be a simple formula;
2nd Sundays 9am - TTs
4th Sundays 9am - RR

All will be added to the website calendar shortly. As the heat increases we will look at starting races at 8am - but there will be plenty of notice given for this.

Just a reminder to all to remember to bring your ACT permanent race number if you have one to the TT on Sunday.

If you don't have a permanent race number, please liaise with Jason Parkes jpparkes@three.com.au to arrange to have one issued. In the meantime, anyone who does not have a permanent number will have a temporary number issued at rego on Sunday.

Hope to see lots of you out on Sunday for the first of our summer TTs.

It is a bit on the hilly side, but doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the dreaded three sisters. If you click on the bikely link in the first post, click on 'show' (top right) then elevation profile you can look at the elevation profile of the course.

The great thing about time trials is you really are just competing against yourself. So you go out and give it a shot, and then see how you improve over the next few months.

Actually, can I just clarify the turn around point? It says opp camp sturt which is down the bottom of the 2nd sister and is a bit of a nasty turn around point (bottom of a fast descent and blind corners). The map shows it at the KOM point (same as for the masters course). Which one are we going to use?

Turn around is at camp sturt entrance.

Thanks.

There is some details of the course including a cool ride-over video that Jamie sorted for the Australian Masters. Just add a bit of a hill at the turnaround point. Go to race info and scroll down for the ITT details.

RACE BUS will be leaving the ANU (the bridge near Purple Pickle) at 7:45.

Is there anyone driving out who can carry race wheels (or in my case, a whole bike)?

Cheers
