Hi All

There are a couple of us going on an easy cruise tomorrow morning from the ANU at 7am. Just keep the legs fresh for crits.

Does anybody have any ideas of a good place to go for Breakfast? The pickle is shut and I can't remember the name of the place in Dickson starting with an S?

Thanks

Spill the Beans or Sfoflia?

I was thinking of spill the beans but they are closed. Sfoglia won't answer the phone.

8:30 @ Stromlo for some MTB fun? Could do morning coffee @ Cafe Daz.

Sounds good Daz but I have a few people coming on the road and I want to take it easy.

Whats the cafe plan for the SFP crit play? I'm hoping to make it out to get used to the bumping I may recieve when I dare to pull on a different jersey (gulp).

The call of "Where's your race radio now Powell and Huckstep!" will be heard echoing across the track! ;)

Is the Wild West ride still on for Tuesday 0600 Cnr Cotter and Eucumbean?

I doubt it after Fitzs. The Ride of Many Names might be contingent on the V-Mobile training program.

Yarralumla bakery was a no go last time. We ended up getting coffee from the Turkish next door despite the owner not being able to speak any English. He had to get the Butcher from the next shop to take the orders!

What about the Bakery Cafe on Bunda St? They are open tomorrow until 2pm. :)

Dobbinson's on Bunda will probably be open as well - you can't go past a 75 cent sourdough roll with jam!

Sounds good. We will head for the city then.

So, just confirming, the Fitz's recovery ride meets at ANU at 7.00 am then ride around the city and then meet back in Bunda St for coffee? :)

Sounds good graeme. Probably the loop we use for novices friday mornings. No sprints, maybe cut the steep lyneham hill but go up to the top of the Fed?

Sound great to me, I need a break from hills for a few days... ;)

We will probably have the whole family out..Stacey and me continuing to practise our reverse break away huffing and puffing and Kate (without her race radio) not raising a sweat...

Milto, Thanks for organising the recovery ride this morning, enjoyed it. Got rid of the tightness from Fitz's and what a great morning for a ride :). But I promise next time to give more notice for smashed bottles on the road and will carry a spare $50 in case I need to patch over a slashed tire sidewall.

Also thanks for demonstrating the 'no lever' tire change... so now I can change my tyres like a pro :D.
