While weight is only a very small part of the equation as all would agree most climbers are skinny ass runts that deserve a good smack down on the flat. But just how weedy are they?
If you go by the data from the 1999 tour and you where popping EPO pills like not tomorrow then you would be a competitive specialist climber if you where between 175-180 cm and weighed around 60-66 kg.
Now for those people that have dreams of being a time trial specialist you can tip the scales at a lard ass 70-75kg and tower over the crowd at 180-185 cm.
Oh well all is not lost Jan Ullrich rolled over the line at 183 cm and 73 kg and Lance Armstrong at 179 cm and 73 kg and they rode clean.
So if I was to go all Skelator like, I could be like a fat Ullrich or a taller and fatter Lance.
