I did a transaction with Ribble for bike parts on 21 Oct, and now I get two bogus international transaction deducting $400 on 22 Oct. NAB will refund the money, and issue a new card. lucky I had a $500 limit.
May have nothing to do with Ribble, but worth a check if you have used Ribble recently, check your card for bogus transations.

Again?
There was a big stink with ribble several months ago - same story - credit cards being charged large amounts internationally. Now it is happening again?
Ross knows the details of the first incident.
I got done at the start of the year along with Ross about 500 members of the cycling community. There were posts on a number of forums. Avoid Ribble, their security is not up to scratch even though they deny it.
That said I got done again 2 months ago, not able to trace that one though.

Yeah I got done via Ribble too - CEBU Air enjoyed some of my credit card

me too - by Ribble.
My credit union contacted me even before I realised and told me verbally it had been compromised by Ribble to the tune of 900 smackers.
I sent them a scathing email and they did the old deny deny deny.
Never again.
I got a few CEBU rogue transactions too a while back, bank refunded the money. People on other forums were blaming PBK. It's not really PBK/Ribble's fault if someone hacks their interweb, no system is 100% secure.

How is it not their fault Rossco? They are providing a website that handles people's personal credit card information - if the security that they have in place isn't adequate - whether it's sourced from a third party or not it's still their responsibility.
I've never had dramas with PBK, the ONE time I used Ribble I got smoked to the tune of $1300 and had to go through the associated B.S of changing cards over. I'm with Sparky - never again.
When our the people hosting the V-Mob site got hacked last year (for the second time in fact), I changed providers. So far, no issues with this lot - 2 providers - one that does their job, one that doesn't.

Both Chain Reaction and PBK have treated me great, no complaints and no issues with my CC. Thanks for the headsup with Ribble.
I bought some stuff from Ribble last month and no problems yet.

I heard one of the other MACT guys got stung last week. He had also used Ribble. You can still use Ribble if you see something you want - use the phone!
