Any takers for a 3 pm start at Edgars?

I am still keen Matt. I am hopeful that others may start to come along late August or Sept. Then we will have to make it Monday evenings when crits start.

Weather's looking good - anyone else coming along?

Hi Matt

I am sorry about the late notice but I have to pike on you this arvo. Been sick and was feeling better but need a nice easy roll.

Also note that Edgars is closed for a month while they are doing work at the Ainslie shops.

Ok Matt I am a goer this week. Anybody else out there?

Anybody else thinking that they may like the idea of an afternoon group ride in the winter or spring? Any days work better for people as it will have to move when crits start.

Definitely like the idea but work makes things tough - i'll slot myself in as a perpetual maybe/hopeful attendee.

How long and what pace (and where is edgars)?

I have a 2hr recovery ride scheduled tomorrow but have to be somewhere from about 2 till 3 (should be able to make 3 meeting place northside).

Edgars at Ainslie shops. I am happy to keep the pace pretty easy. Normally head out to Tallagandra lane. Let me know as we can wait for you if you are a little late.

See you there Milto!
Sue, we could probably catch up along the way (big roundabout on Federal Hwy?) if that would help.

I plan to be there but don't wait on me.

Correction... I might get caught up till 4pm and not make it at all! Looks like the rollers tonight :-(

Another nice ride thanks Matt. Always nice to get out and go for an afternoon spin on country roads. If you have never ridded on Tallagandra lane it is a nice northside loop with rolling hills.

It will be good when they seal the short dirt section of Mulligans Flat Rd.

To be honest the dirt is not a problem as long as it is dry. I sat on mid 30's through it today and it was fine. There are no cars on it so you can pick your line.

It is as smooth and hard as possible and there are some potholes to go around and patches of corrugations but it is fine.

Maybe worse when sealed 'coz it might result in more traffic using it! As Milto said, In dry conditions it isn't a worry at all.
