I have received my registration package in the mail for the Fitz's. I would suggest everyone check your paper work as despite having registered in and paid for the Epic my package is only for the Challenge. I have contacted them and hope to have this fixed before hand rather than needing to stuff around in the morning.

That is their polite method of telling you that you cannot handle the Epic little man.

Napoleon was a little man so watch out!

I will admit that I am a little man, so I am happy to be doing the Classic rather than the Epic. You sickos (self abusers) can have it all to yourselves. :D

I signed up for the Challenge and all I got back was a picture of people laughing.

They made the same mistake for me too. How did you go about making the change, Chris?

Its not how long you can go ,its how you do it.

Avi

Its like the old saying that size doesn't matter.

Its like the old saying that size doesn't matter.

It is nice the way you say that, but is is only true if you are satisfied with your size. Where are my pointy hat and platform shoes?

Dan

No word yet. I have run and e-mailled. From the answering machine I suspect that the contacts are still at work.

Well apparently I am now... I registered and paid for the Classic 165km ride and received paperwork for the 105km Tharwa Challenge instead. Me thinks that something is amiss at PedalPower HQ.

Trouble is I almost feel like they have done me a favour, now I can join the other Valhalla people who are also going to have a bash at the 105km event. :)

My paper work says "Classic 165km" where my online registration receipt says "Entry Type: Fitz's Epic Challenge 207km Non-Member" which is what I want.

Same here. Rego'd for the Epic, got the 105km info. On fire pedal power!

I just looked at my stuff, rego'd for the 165km Classic and they sent me the info for 207km Epic.

If any details are incorrect or change before the event or if you want to change the ride you have entered, please advise Pedal Power at fitzsrego@pedalpower.org.au and include your name and email address as originally entered (for identification purposes) and the changes required.

It sounds like they need an online registration that automatically prints and makes the packages. Computers done make mistakes right. Oh that is what they used. ....

haha, good work PP.

I'm thinking about not doing fitz's. I don't know whether to complete the 207, or race the 105, or do nothing.

woe.

I have received an e-mail response. Looks like it will be all sorted before hand.

There has been an error in the preparation of the rider packs. You should

I got one too. But different!

A number of riders have received incorrect rider packs. New rider packs have been prepared for those riders and will be posted on Friday 23 October.

Thank you for your patience.

Yeh you can enter on the day but I think it costs an extra $5 or $10. Same price whatever distance you do.
