I think there's certainly huge room for improvement in Civic. I like their idea of linking the Sullivan's Creek bike path with the lake bike path. And this morning I had to ride from Civic East to Civic West/ANU in peak hour and it's a nightmare. I am not sure about the physically separated cycle lanes, seems like a bit of overkill particularly where traffic speeds are slow anyway, personally I am happy with just normal on road cycle lanes. But, it might encourage more people onto bikes who currently don't feel safe on the roads and that is a good thing.
