Hey Guys,
Any juniors going to the Wagga Tour? Kayla is a starter.
If you are going where are you staying. I was thinking about Junee. Should see if we can book/stay at the same place.
I will also bring the VCC tent.
Cheers Mark and Kayla

I'm doing it :)
Not sure where exactly people are planning to stay this year - but i know last year we stayed at the Tuckerbox Motor Inn in Gundagai... and that seemed to work well :)
Yep i'm going too! I'm not sure where we're staying either...

okay so apparently the place we stayed last year is all booked out.. the Rice's, the Marshall's, the Ferrier's and the Hayes' got the last 4 rooms. The rest of us are staying at "Poets Recall Motel" in Gundagai [the rest of us so far only being me, lucy and nathan]
So stay there :)

Has anyone got any info on the Wagga Junior Tour? Start times etc... I presume the go is to drive down on Saturday morning.
I will bring the VCC tent to set up a base and shelter. I think Nige said he would bring one too.
Cheers Mark
I'm going too. There will be a great turn out of Canberra kids. 23 in total with 5 Vikings kids. For most of them it will be their first open race.:)
I haven't received any info yet but I might see if I can get some off the Wagga club though.
I think this year there is a ITT and RR on the Sat and then a RR on the Sunday morning. I know that Kate and I will be heading down on the Friday night. (This is what we did last year but some people did drive up on the day).
I can't wait! 16 JW17s!!!:D:D

16!? wow that has to be a record!
I'm excited.
This is what I was sent when i asked for information. This is only one of the contacts so maybe the other one will have more info.
Will let you know when I get the other reply.
Lucy,
Only that racing starts 10am Saturday and 8.30am Sunday. I am not sure what the distances are.
Beth.

Thanks Lucy,
I just got back a reply from Beth that said pretty much the same. The Wagga Cycling website has distances from last years race.

Should be close but would be good to see the real program.
Cheers Mark
One thing about last years distances is that they had an ITT and three RR, this year they are only having an ITT and two RR (from what I can gather).
I wonder if this will affect the distances of the RRs?
The Saturday ITT will start off with U19 and will finish with U11.

Our juniors have done an amazing job!
Sam - 1st in JM17 ITT, 2nd in RR, leading GC
Kate - 1st in JW17 ITT
Lucy - 5th in JW17 ITT
Alison - 1st in RR (I believe there was some great team work involving Kate & Lucy)
Kayla - riding well but not of results
well done to all our impressive Canberra Juniors! Sorry if I missed anyone out.
There is a RR in am Sunday & then handicap in pm (though this one's not part of the GC). Can't wait to hear the rest of the results!
Man, that's awesome! Well done you lot. Great to see that when the Vikings ladies aren't putting the rest of us to shame the juniors step up to the mark! Bloody fantastic!

Sam won his rr today, so got 1st in GC - will probably be moved up to 17sA for goulbun! solid effort!
I got in the break and came 4th in the rr today, getting me 5th in gc. might've been able to win it if i hadn't died so badly in the 1st rr yesterday (coming 10th and loosing 2 mins) haha. Alison won our GC, consistently getting good results.
Lucy did well again, doing her bit for the team.
good racing done by all ACT riders, we totally dominated the weekend :D
Well done, you are all fantastic!!!
