Does anyone have an old shimano front (31.8 band on) and/or rear deraileur that they no longer want? Needs to be 10 speed.

Tor, your bike won't know the difference between a 10 or a 9, either will work just fine.

you can also get pretty neat (and cheap) clamp on to braze on adaptors if you already have a braze on front d.
It'll be a cheaper option.

Do you want them Dan? I'd be happy to buy them off you for anything reasonable. Would I be destroyed by postage?

I think I have a backup for you if the Dan plan doesn't work. I'll delve into the deep parts bin.
