Hi All,
Any of those who are keen MTBers would know or have heard of James Williamson. James lived in Canberra for several years. He was an outstanding talent and a great ambassador for the sport (an incredibly nice person). He won the Australian 24hr MTB champs in 2006 and the World Solo Champs in 2008. While racing in South Africa this week, he failed to wake up from his sleep. He was only 26 years old. RIP Willo.
This weeks rides
Saturday- Sorry, I will be away again doing the rogaining champs.
8am from ANU
Long- Wallaroo rd, Hall, Gungahlin, then Federal Hwy to make up to about 80km
Medium- Wallaroo rd, Hall, Gungahlin- 60km approx
Short- Belconnen water treatment works and back via Belco way and Drake Brockman- up to 40km.
Monday- Hill reps, Black Mountain. turn up after 6.30am to avoid descending in the dark. Take care for animals when descending. Just turn up and ride. I will be there most weeks but not this one. 24hrs without sleep will call for a sleep in.
Wedensday- bunch rides from Dickson pool at 6am. This week is Mugga loop.
