Junior Track Nationals

Junior Track Nationals wraps up tonight, The ACT team definitely made their presence known. Good luck to Allison Rice (ccc) who is racing for gold tonight in the JW17 individual pursuit. A special congratulations to VCC girls Lucy Kirk and Emily Clark for getting PB's in all their events :) They both raced extremely well in their first ever track nationals!!!

Twas a great week with all riders getting PB's. The team returned with 2 medals- silver for Allison Rice in the IP and bronze for Michael Rice in the scratch.
Thanks to the Vikings CC for all the support before, during and after the event. The trailer was fantastic to have and was packed to the roof with bikes, wheels, spares and a variety of other equipment needs. The use of the club's trailer made the trip much easier, THANKS!

Thanks everyone, for your support and anyone who participated in the trips to DGV!

We (the team) all had a fantastic week of fun and racing : ). Some great P.Bs and state records. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to getting out and doing it again next year.
Junior Nationals are at DGV next year :D!

FYI Lucy's time in the individual pursuit was a PB by 2 seconds, placed her 6th and was ONLY 0.2sec off qualifying for the bronze medal ride!!!
