Looks like I may be one of the few not going to Jindabyne for the long weekend, so I will be doing this race. But what is the best way to get to Tidbinbilla from Inner North by bike? Is it better to go via Cotter Road, over Paddy's River Road etc. or is there some way through Tuggeranong or thereabouts?

Most of the time we'd roll down Drakeford on the bike path and hit up the Point Hut X'ing route - i'm sure some of the Mexican's on here have a bikely route hidden away

If you want to ride out, drive to Point Hut and then ride from there to Tidbinbilla.

I can't make it tomorrow but northerners might actually find it easier and quicker to ride via the Cotter.

Hmmm. I'll only be doing one lap (40km for D grade) in the race, so 40 or so k's out via Cotter might not be too bad. I may beg for a lift home from Point Hut from the wife though...

There is also racing for juniors. The course is from the tracking station to the intersection with the main road (Paddys River Road). Apologies this was not included in the flyer.

I'll be driving and can bring one person/bike back north.

Now just have to hope the weather clears.
