We'll need a couple of marshals too. Nothing too onerous - just sit at the pub or your driveway at home with a drink in hand, stamping booklets as riders come though.
Volunteering members/partners/pets please PM me.
Thanks!

why do people ride fixies and ss?
Is it because gears are too complitcated?

...improved spin, fluid pedal stroke, increased stamina, restored virility, male pattern baldness reversal, and assorted other benefits...

A sneak preview of the itinerary:
You'll be issued a card with four locations described on it.
The locations will be identified with a coloured marker/banner.
There will be a stamp at each location to hit your card with.
Collect the set - finish at Edgar's.
Distance ~30km. Enjoy!

Floodways in North Lyneham!
Firetrails to the reservoir at Mt Ainslie!!
Congratulations to Michael Milton, happy winner of a pair of pimpin' leather MTB grips.
Till next time...

Race Report
Well I had no idea of what I was doing at this event but I had a sigle speed so it seemed like the logical thing to do. I was a bit worried when there were only 2 of us 10 minutes before the start but in the end Steve showed up and we had 5 racers.
We got the map wtih 5 checkpoints on it. They only showed a small area where each checkpoint was so we had to navigate between each checkpoint and also find the stamp at each one. It was good to combine the navigation and mental skills with the physical element of riding around the city. There were a couple of tough checkpoints, one under a bridge in a drainage channel and another up some dirt on mt ainslie but I had fun and coming back to edgars first was a real surprise.
Definitely a fun afternoon and I would reccomend it to anyone for future events.

The last alleycat was a great event too even if it was missing mandatory brewskie stops.
Would be up for the next one for sure to debut the Swamp Rock.
