The 2010 Rydges-BellCity Australian Masters Track Championships will be held at the Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC) velodrome from April 15-18, 2010.
The 'Masters' age group for riders 30 years and over, is Australia’s largest and fastest growing cycling demographic, and these championships will bring hundreds of competitors, plus families and friends, from all over Australia to Melbourne.
Male and Female cyclists will test themselves against their fellow competitors in five year age categories over four individual disciplines including the time trial, sprint, pursuit and scratch race. The men will also have the opportunity to compete in the team sprint event.
The DISC velodrome, located in Melbourne's inner northern suburb of Thornbury, opened in late 2004, with the Australian Masters and Juniors Championships in March 2005 featuring as the venue's debut event.
The event’s major sponsor, Rydges-BellCity, is the perfect place for all competitors, families and their friends to stay.
Just minutes from the velodrome, it also provides cyclists with great discounts for their sensational range of rooms.
