I think this might be Chloe Hosking's first race for Team Columbia and possibly the biggest she's yet ridden. (??) Either way, she has got herself a pretty brilliant start! Might make Tom B feel a bit better for being pwned in the sprint by her before Christmas!

speaking of being beaten by girls:

sometimes girlss race with us in the B-grade wednesday crits. Many are top australian riders. Also, most of the B-grade boys are office worker hack cyclists like myself. I am very surprised that many of the b grade boys consistently outperform the girls.

are the girls holding back, or is the physical difference between boys and girls extremely large?

What an impressive effort by Chloe - that's gals amazing. I continue to be surprised at how many great cyclists Canberra seems to produce - all the hills have to be good for something :)
