Day 1, session 1.

Inidividual pursuit qualifying this afternoon. Just two ACT riders, Mitch (Vikings) and Ed (CCC). Both put in blinders to do the 3km in 3:20.something coming in 3rd and 4th so its an all ACT rideoff for the Bronze medal. Both riders slashed over 6 sec (mitch) and 9secs (ed) of their PB's. Fastest U19 did new WR for the 3km of 3:13 something.

Awesome afternoon of riding with the mens 4km also seeing fastest time since Boardmans WR - Bobridge 4:14.

Finals tonight along with some sprint action I think.

Wow - what an excellent performance by the young ACT riders. Mitch has my disc so looks like it's putting it to great use :) Must be a fast track down there.

We aren't up till Thursday (pursuit) and friday (TT). Aparently the pressure is really low today as a storm is coming in - hence the fast times. Its warm but not really hot and a bit humid, however they tell me its really all about the air pressure. Had an hour on the track this morning and it did feel pretty fast.
