First there was Eeyore, then some depressing Manga crap, then Skeletor, and now Dr Who.

Time and time again we're subjected to his shenanigans. When will it end?

Tom Baker... the greatest ever Dr Who?
Hey Simon, next time you see me ask me about being called out to a vomiting goat at 3am in the morning and counselling a crying Dr Who about vomiting goats not having a great prognosis. Needless to say there wasnt a good outcome and I'm probably not Tom Baker's favourite vet.

I thought he'd lifted it from that corny ad that shows up at the top of the forum.
Exactly how much commish are you getting from that?
Then again, this is V-Mobile....

Not happy until someone gives me a good reason (not involving goats) why Dr Who is not a good avatar.

I thought we decided on the He-Man gif.
Apparently I was tricked.

The logic breaks down a little when you try "doctor who is great" ...
"Jamie is an idiot" only got 1,260,000 supporters though, so maybe there's something to it :P

its "dr who is c", the "c" being there to filter out phrases with fewer results such as "dr who is going to fix it" and "dr who isohunt" - so i feel the logic is sound :)

"what is the name of the girl that simon is constantly pursuing" has 18,000,000 members. Clearly this is more true than "Dr Who is crap"

Thank you, Tor, for giving us a brief ray of logic in an otherwise dimly lit thread.
I tested your Google propositions Avi, and it turns out google is finding references to specific episodes. Most of these are recent, well after Tom Baker's glorious time. So you haven't proved that Dr Who the person is crap, only that several modern episodes of the program "Dr Who" are crap and that those who feel that way tend to post such insights to other forums. So Tom Baker's Dr Who is not relevant to your Google search both in time and in reference.

According to Google, 71,400,000 people are interested in "How to kiss".

I was going to say... isnt that what Tom Baker was reduced to...narrator for little britain?
SimonD

that's like saying Ringo was "reduced to" narrating Thomas the Tank Engine.

I thought perhaps Simon's choice of "The Doctor" might have been significant in terms of future hopes and plans??
I want the 5 minutes of my life back that I spent reading this thread...
